Family

We started this winery practically from scratch in 1975, and are today proud to call a total area of 18 ha our own. Our winery has always been operated as family business. Please let us introduce ourselves:

	Johannes Berger I am the third of three children and was born in 1979. After obtaining technical education in wine-making and practical training at two renowned wineries in Austria and California, I finally decided to stay and work at home. I am chiefly responsible for the cellar and, therefore, the vinification of our wines. When it comes to selling I am also the one you should talk to. 	Johann Berger I was born in 1949 and am in charge of all the work done with machinery in the vineyards. Other tasks include the cellar and the general marketing of our wines.

Maria Anna Berger I’m four years younger than my husband and do all the manual work in the vineyards. I usually decide what should be done where, when and how. And I also take care of the cooking.
